Terms of service
Last updated 10 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Punctilious Permutations, LLC for the Threk app and threk.fit. Using Threk means you accept them. They are written to be read, not to be impenetrable; where something matters, it is said plainly.
Threk is not medical advice
This is the most important thing here. Threk builds training plans from published exercise science and shows you patterns in your own data. It is not a medical device, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for a doctor. Nothing in it should be used to detect, treat, or rule out any condition.
Talk to a clinician before starting or changing how you train, particularly if you have a heart condition, chest pain, dizziness, a joint problem, high blood pressure, are pregnant or recently post partum, or take medication that affects heart rate or blood pressure. If something hurts in a way that is not ordinary training discomfort, stop. See the medical disclaimer for the longer version.
You train at your own risk. You are responsible for judging what is safe for your body on the day.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older.
- Give an email address you control, and keep access to it — it is how you sign in.
- One account per person. Don't share it.
- Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account.
Subscriptions and payment
Threk is a paid product. Where a subscription is offered, the price, billing period, and what it includes are shown before you buy, and you are charged through the app store or payment processor you bought through — we never see or store your card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
- Cancel any time through the store you bought from; you keep access until the period you have paid for ends.
- Refunds follow the rules of that store. Where the law gives you a right to a refund, that right applies regardless of what this paragraph says.
- If we change the price, we will tell you before it affects you, and you can cancel.
Your data and your content
What you log is yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you — to store it, show it back to you, and process it to build your plan. If you choose to share a workout publicly, you are giving other Threk users permission to see and use that workout.
You can export everything or delete your account permanently from Settings, at any time, without asking us. The privacy policy explains what we hold and who else touches it.
Fair use
Don't use Threk to break the law, to harass anyone, to attack or overload the service, to scrape it, or to resell it. Don't upload content you have no right to share.
Availability
We work to keep Threk running, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and a window to export your data.
Liability
Threk is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, Punctilious Permutations, LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim relating to Threk is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Ending it
You can stop using Threk and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will explain why unless we are legally prevented.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep the mandatory protections of your home country.
Changes
If we change these terms materially, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
